Transcript

Presented by Corpedia Inc.

Every company has its own approach to ethics, compliance, risk and anticorruption.  How does your company compare?  During this one-hour webcast, the presenters will discuss and compare companies both within their industries as well as by company size, governance structure and where they operate.
The presenters will discuss some of the key finds of the ACC-Corpedia 2007 Compliance Program and Risk Assessment Benchmarking Survey (which analyzed over 500 separate companies), and how that survey compared against a similar survey undertaken by ACC and Corpedia in 2005.  They will also address some of the pan-industry initiatives, including those of the World Economic Forum as well as the Ethisphere Institute which are addressing specific areas of compliance and ethics, including Global Anticorruption, Government Contracting, and Ethical Leadership.

Topics will include:
  • What is the minimal standard of what companies should be doing in risk assessment, training and communications compared to peers?
  • What is the role of in-house counsel in the increasingly common corporate social responsibility (CSR) efforts that an organization may undertake?
  • What trends are emerging in transparency over compliance and ethical leadership efforts?
  • How much information should a company release to the public about its efforts to combat corruption and proactively drive a culture of ethics and compliance?

ACC will not offer CLE credit for this program
