        Economic factors are currently forcing many businesses to review their international staffing level and this trend is unlikely to change during the remainder of 2008. The workforce reduction that will often follow such a review can be a hazardous activity in Europe as the regulatory environment in which such processes need to be managed are very different to those with which a US based practitioner will be familiar.

        In this program presenters will analyse the issues to be addressed in managing workforce reductions in certain key jurisdictions in Europe. This webcast will also seek to identify some practical tips for the management of multi jurisdictional workforce reduction programs where particular problems around timing and consistency of approach will arise.
