Please join us for an informative session regarding the role legislation can have on your company. We will be discussing general ways proposed legislation can have both a positive and negative effect on your company, as well as ways to stay current on upcoming and proposed legislation. Advice on tracking legislation will be discussed, as well as ways to get involved (either directly or indirectly) to have a voice resulting in changes to legislation. Key tools, solutions and prior experiences will be shared.

Dan L. Boho, Partner, Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP, has a national trial and mediation practice with verdicts in Illinois, California, New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania and appearances as pro hac vice counsel in 18 states. Mr. Boho is a Fellow of the prestigious American College of Trial Lawyers and handles high profile, media-intensive matters.
Ruthe D. Wynne is General Counsel for A- 1 Door and Building Solutions, the largest door supplier on the West Coast and ranked in the top five nation wide. Her current duties involve all legal matters affecting her employer, with a focus on construction litigation and contract negotiations and management. In addition to her legal responsibilities, she also serves as the government affairs advisor for her company and a leading trade association. She can be reached at rwynne@a1door.com.
Robert Blackstone, Manager, Inside Account Management, Corporate Markets has been with Thomson Reuters for 3 1/2 years. He began as an Inside Account Manager for Solo/Small law firms, then moved to the Corporate team as the Division Specialist. He was promoted to his current position in January of this year. Among other contributions, Robert has become an expert on NetScan and researching and training in the area of regulations. Robert holds a J.D. from Hamline University School of Law, and he attended the University of Denver Graduate Tax Program. He also has a B.A. in History and Economics from Lake Forest College in Illinois.
