| Description |
Presented by ACC's Employment & Labor Law Committee and Jackson Lewis LLP
The global workplace demands that all U. S. corporate counsel have a basic awareness of what to consider when dealing with employee issues in foreign jurisdictions. This webcast is designed to provide an overview of the 20 – 30 hot button legal issues involving foreign employment laws that often arise when working on in-house projects. Which laws apply? How must recruitment, offers of employment, employment contracts, and termination of employees be handled? What effect will emerging anti-discrimination and data privacy laws have? Each issue will be discussed in the context of relevant examples and practice tips. Time permitting, the webcast will conclude with “pointers” on dealing with foreign employment law counsel.
ACC will not offer CLE credit for this program
