Presented by ACC’s Financial Services Committee and Kirkpatrick & Lockhart Nicholson Graham

In the wake of the recent corporate scandals, internal investigations by corporations have become far more prevalent.  If conducted properly, internal investigations can promote sound corporate governance principles.  If not done properly, the consequences to a corporation could be disasterous.

This presentation will focus on the nuts and bolts of conducting an effective internal investigation.  It also will discuss some of the more difficult questions that need to be addressed in virtually every internal investigation.  The speakers from K&LNG draw on their experience conducting a number of significant internal investigations, including one of WorldCom for the Bankruptcy Court and one of the 60 Minutes Wednesday segment involving documents related to President Bush's Texas Air National Guard service.

ACC will not offer CLE credit for this program
